As a part of our corporate social responsibility, the bank has initiated to help the fire victims of Siraha. On 15 May 2012 an accidental fire broke out in Aurahi VDC of the district around noon of and gutted around 1200 huts of around 1000 families. So to help the needy, the staffs of the bank have shown their support by voluntarily raising funds. In line to this, a cheque of Rs. 56,799.11 was handed over to Mr. Dinesh Golcha, Chairman of Morang Udhyog Banijya Sangh by Mr. Lekh Raj Karki, Branch Manager of Kist Bank, Biratnagar as a bank’s representator on 25^th June 2012 at a program. The amount will then be distributed to the victims through the chamber.
