Banks) from Bihar University, India under Colombo Plan Scholarship, Dr.
Paudel served at the Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB), the Central Bank of Nepal,
at various departments at various capacities. He served about ten years
in the capacity of Economic Advisor for NRB. He participated in numerous
trainings/seminars/workshops conducted in Nepal, India and several countries
abroad. He has been providing freelance consultancy services as macroeconomic
specialist in various World Bank and Asian Development Bank funded projects.
He also served at the South East Asian Central Bank (SEACEN) Research
and Training Centre, Kualalampur, Malaysia, for the duration of 1992-95
as Senior Economist/Assistant Director for Research. Dr. Paudel was also
the member of the Board of Directors in Nepal Stock Exchange (2001-05)
and Rastriya Banijya Bank (RBB) (June, 2006-May, 2009) as well as the
Member of Directors, Credit Committee of the RBB for the referred period.
He had been working in the capacity of Director before retiring from Nepal
Rastra Bank.
